Carlo Ancelotti
Brazil's national team has finally appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new coach for the upcoming year of 2024. Ancelotti, who is currently contracted with Real Madrid until June 2024, will complete his tenure with the club before taking on his new role.

Ancelotti is already preparing to dive into coaching Brazil as he joins them for the Copa America in 2024. This will be the maestro's first experience coaching a national team.

The 64-year-old coach is renowned for his mastery in leading clubs to success both domestically and internationally. Ancelotti, for instance, guided Real Madrid to their 14th UEFA Champions League title in the 2021/2022 season.

He will be taking over the position previously held by Tite, who left the Brazil national team after their defeat to Croatia in the 2022 World Cup. Currently, Fluminense coach Diniz will assume the coaching position for the Brazil national team.

Diniz is replacing Ramon Menezes, who was deemed incapable of leading Brazil. In his three matches, Menezes suffered two defeats.

Ancelotti Familiar with Brazilian Players at Real Madrid

Ancelotti will immediately face the challenging task of the Copa America and the qualification for the 2026 World Cup. Meanwhile, Diniz will continue coaching Fluminense while temporarily taking charge of the Brazil national team.

Ancelotti is certainly familiar with Brazil. At the very least, he has already established relationships with many Brazilian players such as Vinicius Jr, Neymar Jr, Rodrygo, Eder Militao, and others.

"BREAKING: Carlo Ancelotti set to become Brazil's new coach in June 2023. He will complete his contract with Real Madrid and immediately take charge of Selecao in the 2024 Copa America," wrote Italian Football TV.

"Confederation of Brazilian Football President Ednaldo Rodrigues has confirmed the accuracy of this report."

Ancelotti came close to becoming a national team coach in 1992 and 1995. At that time, he served as an assistant to the legendary Italian coach Arrigo Sacchi.

Ancelotti's success extends beyond coaching. He was also part of AC Milan's golden generation during their dominance in Europe in the 1980s.

He then began his coaching career at AC Milan, Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG, Napoli, and Bayern Munich.

Ancelotti Leaves a Legacy at Real Madrid

Ancelotti had two stints as the coach of Real Madrid. During this time, he achieved remarkable success, winning La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, Copa del Rey, the FIFA Club World Cup, and other significant achievements.

Ancelotti is now tasked with leading Brazil to their sixth FIFA World Cup title. If successful, he will go down as one of the most successful Italian coaches of all time.
