Meta is reportedly working on an advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) model equivalent in efficiency to OpenAI's GPT-4 language model.

This Meta AI is designed to generate text and analyses tailored for businesses and services. In essence, Meta's AI model will become a competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise.

Meta is reported to be building an advanced AI model equivalent in efficiency to OpenAI's GPT-4 language model.

This artificial intelligence from Meta will be capable of producing text and analyses aimed at businesses and services. It's safe to say that Meta's AI model will rival OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise.

LlaMA 2, A Language Model Resulting from Meta and Microsoft Collaboration

For reference, the Large Language Model Meta AI (LlaMA) was first launched in February 2023. Meta's language model has been a competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT since its launch.

Similar to ChatGPT, LlaMA is a chatbot trained on CCNet, C4, Wikipedia, ArXiv, and Stack Exchange data. Now, Meta has introduced the second generation of LlaMA.

As reported by Gizmodo, Meta and software company Microsoft collaborated to launch the second generation of Large Language Model Meta AI, LlaMA 2.

LlaMA 2 has been trained with 40% more data compared to the first model. Meta also mentioned that LlaMA 2 is available on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

At the same time, Qualcomm has revealed that they are partnering with Meta to bring LlaMA to more devices. Additionally, it's reported that LlaMA 2 will be integrated into smartphones and PCs with Snapdragon CPUs starting in 2024.

Meta has introduced an open-source code-generating engine called Code LlaMA, which will be available online for free.

This system is based on the LlaMA language model and will automatically suggest code to developers. As reported by The Verge, Code LlaMA will use the same community license as LlaMA 2.

This code-generating engine can create code strings from prompts and complete and debug code when directed to specific code strings.

Meta claims that Code LlaMA performs better than regular LlaMA. The company states that LlaMA scored 53.7% on the HumanEval code benchmark and can accurately write code based on text descriptions.

Meta's open-source strategy has significant influence compared to other AI developers. Apart from developing large language models, Meta has also opened the source of its Audiocraft AI model, which includes MusicGen and AudioGen. Additionally, Meta has released the deepfake generator Voicebox AI.

On the other hand, Meta has introduced a new artificial intelligence model called SeamlessM4T, which allows for easy communication through speech or text in multiple languages.

M4T stands for Massively Multilingual and Multimodal Machine Translation.

According to Meta's official website, SeamlessM4T supports speech recognition for nearly 100 languages, as well as speech-to-text translation for almost 100 input and output languages.

This AI also supports speech-to-speech translation for nearly 100 input languages and 36 output languages, as well as text-to-text translation for almost 100 languages.

Another capability is text-to-speech translation, supporting nearly 100 input languages and 35 output languages.

"Compared to approaches that use separate models, the single-system approach of SeamlessM4T reduces errors and delays, enhancing the efficiency and quality of the translation process," said Meta.

"This enables people speaking different languages to communicate with each other more effectively," added the parent company of Facebook.

This AI translator model is publicly released under a research license, allowing researchers and developers to work on the project.
